§ 2-774. Suspensions.

The hiring authority may suspend for cause and without pay any regular employee for a period of time not to exceed ten working days in any three-month period. Employees may not take annual leave, sick leave, or compensatory leave concurrently with a period of suspension. The progressive discipline process may be followed prior to suspension, except in cases warranting automatic suspension.
