§ 4-33. Sheriff to select and certify programs.

Within 60 days from October 28, 1996, the sheriff of the county shall select and certify such program as will provide sufficient alcoholic beverage server instruction to fulfill the letter and intent of this article. Upon selecting such program, the sheriff shall notify the county clerk of his selection. It shall be the duty of the county clerk to send a letter to all persons or corporations holding a permit to sell beer in the county informing them of the requirement for training, the acceptable programs and how they may bring themselves within the requirements of the law.
