§ 4-31. Alcoholic beverage server training and certification.

(a)

No person employed in the business of selling or serving alcoholic beverages in the county, outside the corporate limits of the City of Knoxville, shall so sell or serve alcoholic beverages without first having attended and completed a program of alcoholic beverage server training approved by the sheriff of the county.

(b)

Violation of this section is deemed a civil offense punishable by a fine of up to $500.00 per day, each day constituting a separate violation.
