§ 2-277. Employees of department of internal audit.

In fulfilling his/her duties, the county auditor is hereby designated the appointing authority of employees of the department of internal audit. Such employees shall be entitled to the same benefits as other employees of general government. The county auditor shall be the sole supervisor of all persons employed within the department although he/she may delegate this direct supervision responsibility over certain designated employees to an employee within the department.
