Within ten working days after a hearing conducted pursuant to this article, the owner
of the dog, if absent from the hearing, shall be notified by the general sessions
court in writing of the decision of the general sessions court and of any restrictions
imposed upon the respondent, either personally through the animal control division
or by first-class mail, postage prepaid. If a dog is declared to be level one or level
two dangerous, the owner shall comply with all restrictions imposed by this article
and the general sessions court within the time period to be specified by the general
sessions court at the time the restrictions are imposed.
