§ 62-269. Mud flaps.

All vehicles having a rear axle which contains four or more wheels shall be equipped with mud flaps, or contrivances similar in purpose thereto, with the purpose of preventing the backward projection of rocks, dirt, water and other substances by the rear tires of such vehicles.
