§ 62-182. Parking prohibited signs.

  • (a)

    The department of engineering and public works is hereby authorized to erect signs prohibiting parking at all times on streets or roadways as may become necessary based on an engineering and traffic investigation.

    (b)

    The department of engineering and public works is hereby authorized to erect signs prohibiting stopping, standing, or parking during specified hours as may become necessary based on an engineering and traffic investigation.

    (c)

    The department of engineering and public works is hereby authorized, on the basis of an engineering and traffic investigation, to establish restrictions concerning the length of time a person may park a vehicle and the hours during which those restrictions are applicable.

    (d)

    When signs are erected giving notice of such restrictions or prohibitions, no person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle in violation of the restriction or prohibition.
