§ 62-153. School zones.

(a)

No driver of a vehicle shall, upon approaching any school zone, drive through such zone in excess of the posted school zone speed during the times indicated for observance of the school zone speed.

(b)

When a school patrol is on duty for the purpose of protecting school pedestrians and gives a clearly recognizable signal to approaching traffic, all such approaching traffic shall come to a full stop and shall proceed only when all school pedestrians in the street have safely reached the sidewalk.
