§ 62-47. Traffic control devices.
(a)
Placement and maintenance. The department of engineering and public works is authorized to place and maintain official traffic control devices, whether mechanical, or by posted signs, or by roadway markings, when and as may be deemed necessary to regulate, warn, or guide traffic under the traffic ordinances of the county or the state motor vehicle laws.
(b)
Obedience to. When official traffic control devices are erected, posted or marked, no person shall operate a vehicle or park or stop a vehicle in violation of such official regulation.
