§ 54-1. Solicitation for alms, funds, or contributions on public roadways.
(a)
Prohibited. No person shall solicit or advertise for alms, funds, or contributions on any public roadway in the county; nor shall any person solicit or advertise for alms, funds, or contributions to be collected from any person in an automobile while such automobile is being operated on a public roadway.
(b)
Penalty. Anyone found in violation of this section shall be subject to a maximum fine of $50.00.
