§ 2-881. Definitions.
The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
County property means any real property and fixtures thereon owned by or in the possession of county government, exclusive of any properties under the control and supervision of the county department of public instruction.
Moderate change in use means new construction on county property or physical change to currently existing structures on county property, which change is valued at more than $5,000.00 but less than $50,000.00. The value of the change shall be determined by aggregating the total cost in terms of materials, labor, profits and the like, whether those factors are to be paid from public funds, private donations or a combination thereof.
Significant change in use means construction of new facilities or physical modifications of existing facilities on county property with a value of $50,000.00 or more. The value of the change shall be determined by aggregating the total cost in terms of materials, labor, profits and the like, whether those factors are to be paid from public funds, private donations or a combination thereof.
