§ 2-549. Commission's authority to amend budget.

The commission shall have the right to amend, alter or adopt a consolidated budget or the applicable consolidated budget at any time following an original adoption by resolution or operation of law, so long as sufficient revenues are provided to maintain a balanced budget or funds have not been expended or encumbered which would be affected by adoption, modification, or change. Once the commission has approved the consolidated budget, the commission shall not have the authority to alter or amend the budget of the board of education without the approval of the board of education.
