§ 2-548. Adoption of consolidated budget, tax rates and appropriations resolution; effect of failure to adopt.

The commission shall each year adopt a consolidated budget, tax rates, and appropriations resolution on or before midnight on June 30 for the subsequent financial year beginning on July 1. Provided, however, if the commission does not so adopt a consolidated budget, tax rates, and an appropriations resolution on or before midnight on June 30 for the ensuing fiscal year, the consolidated budget, tax rate resolution, and appropriations resolution adopted for the previous fiscal year shall be the applicable budget and tax rate by operation of law for the ensuing fiscal year.
