§ 2-477. Appropriation of pass-through funds; procedure.

  • Any additional specified funds received during the fiscal year from the state or federal government or any other agencies or allocated to a county agency for a specific purpose which are not required to be matched by local funds shall be deposited to the credit of the specified fund of the county and spent by the departments as directed by the grantor or donor, and the county finance office is hereby authorized to record the receipt as estimated revenue with an offsetting entry as an additional appropriation for the specified fund of the county, after obtaining the approval of the appropriate director, the law director, the director of finance, and the county executive. A report of such funds authorized shall be given to the finance committee and the full commission at the next regular commission meeting.
