§ 2-644. Inspection of contractor's plant and records.

(a)

Right to inspect. The county shall have the right to inspect the plant or business of a contractor or any subcontractor under any contract awarded by the county.

(b)

Right to audit. The county shall have the right to audit the books and records of any person seeking to become a contractor or subcontractor or of a contractor or any subcontractor under any negotiated contract or subcontract. Such books and records shall be maintained by the contractor for a period of three years from the date of final payment under the prime contract and by the subcontractor for a period of three years from the date of final payment under the subcontract.
