§ 26-222. Protection during construction.

(a)

Unless otherwise provided herein, all water quality buffer areas shall remain protected from land disturbance, vegetation removal, construction of impervious surfaces, and discharges of sediment and other construction-related wastes during development activities.

(b)

Water quality buffers shall be clearly identified on all construction drawings, and marked with the statement "Water Quality Buffer. Do not disturb."

(c)

Water quality buffers cannot be encroached upon or disturbed during project construction, unless they are being established, restored, or enhanced in accordance with an approved buffer enhancement plan.
