§ 26-151. Title and administration.

(a)

This article shall be cited as the Knox County Stormwater Management Ordinance, and shall replace in entirety chapter 3.5, adopted in April 2005. As of the date of adoption of this article, all references to chapter 3.5 or to previous stormwater management ordinances cited in other county codes or regulations shall be regarded as a reference to this article.

(b)

This article shall apply to all areas located within the jurisdiction of the county.

(c)

The director of the county department of engineering and public works (the director) and the staff under the director's supervision shall administer the provisions of this article. The director shall, with the approval of the county mayor, establish written regulations and technical guidelines as may be necessary to enforce the terms of this article. These regulations and technical guidelines shall be filed in the department of engineering and public works office, and shall be made available to the public.
