§ 26-121. Definitions.
The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
Garbage means putrescible animal and vegetable waste resulting from the handling, preparation, cooking and consumption of food.
Litter means garbage, refuse, rubbish and all other waste material.
Refuse means all putrescible and nonputrescible solid waste.
Rubbish means nonputrescible solid waste consisting of both combustible and noncombustible waste.
