§ 22-128. Terms; selection of officers.

  • The terms for service on the board shall be for four years. No person shall be eligible to serve more than two consecutive terms on the board. For the initial appointment of the board, one EMS representative, as designated by the commission, and the citizen representative shall serve a term of two years, which shall not count against them for the purposes of the term limit provision in this section. The term of the county commission representative shall run concurrently with his/her term of office. At its first meeting the board shall select a chairman and vice-chairman, who shall serve in said roles for one year, subject to reelection at the annual September meeting of the board.
