§ 22-58. Certification—Required.
(a)
No person may operate or advertise as being available to act as a service provider within the county without receiving an emergency medical service provider certificate from the director.
(b)
The director may waive the requirement of certification on an emergency basis upon certification to the county mayor that a public health emergency presently exists and requires that uncertified persons be allowed to act as service providers until the abatement of the public health emergency.
