§ 18-237. Sheriff's duty to attend, preserve order.

  • It shall be the duty of the sheriff of the county, or his deputies, to attend the sessions of both divisions of the criminal court and preserve order and perform such other duties as may be assigned to them by the judges of the two divisions of the criminal court. Such officers shall receive not less than the same compensation, payable in the same manner, as that paid to the officers who attend the existing criminal court of the county.
