§ 18-87. Interchange of judges.

The judges of the five divisions of the general sessions court may interchange with each other, when necessary, or where such interchange is for the mutual convenience, or in case of sickness, absence or other disability on the part of any cause, either of the other judges may hold court in the division in which such vacancy exists. The governor shall have the power to appoint some qualified person to fill such vacancy.
