§ 12-61. Violations.

(a)

Sales made in violation of the provisions of this article are hereby declared to be a public nuisance. Any person who violates, neglects or refuses to comply with any of the provisions of this part commits an offense, punishable by a civil penalty of up to $500.00. Each sale made in violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall constitute a separate offense.

(b)

The sheriff of the county shall be empowered to close immediately any business operating in violation of this article.
